Sports Day

The 5th Sports Day of our reputed institution was celebrated on 26.01.2025 (Sunday) in a grand manner. The celebration formally started with the welcome address presented by Mr. R. Arokiyasamy, M.Com., B.Ed.. Followed by the welcome dance by our secondary level girls, Mrs. Linda Alexander, M.A., B.Ed., Principal, delivered a speech appreciating the interest of students in sports competitions. Mrs. Anbumathy Balasundaram, B.Sc., Vice-Chairman, expressed her happiness over increase in the involvement of students in sports activities in her address. The Chairman, Dr. K. Balasundaram, M.A., M.Ed., Ph.D., in his special address, highlighted the importance of sports in our life. He also recognized the department of sports for the perfect plan and organization. The esteemed Chief Guest Er. P. Balamurugan, B.E., M.B.A., Executive Engineer, Water Resources Departmennt, Kumbakonam, in his Chief Guest address, made the students realize that sports and education are like two eyes of the humans. Both are important for the all-round development of the students. He also valued all the prize winners and all the participants as well. All the winners from Pre-K.G. to XII were quite fortune to receive prizes from the Chief Guest. Mrs. Sushmitha Zen, B.Sc., B.Ed., proposed vote of thanks. The glorious celebration ended with the National Anthem.
